Join Us
We are glad that you want to join the HOT Bears! There are several ways to join... you may join in person at any one of the many events scheduled each month (our officers are always willing and able to take membership applications), you may join online using a credit card or your PayPal account, or you may join by mail.
A printed version of our membership application is available online in Adobe Reader (PDF) format. To view the application you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you haven't installed it already, download Adobe Reader here. If you are having trouble downloading an application, don't despair! We'll mail you one if you ask us. Just contact us if you need help or have any questions!
Existing members can renew their membership online or follow the directions below.
Apply to Join the Club
Online
To apply online using a credit card or your PayPal account, please fill out this form. It asks you to review the Club bylaws, to fill in your contact information, and then it takes you to PayPal's secure website. There you can use a credit card or a PayPal account to pay for your membership. If you don't have a PayPal account, don't worry. The PayPal site allows you to pay directly with a credit card, without creating an account.
By Mail or In Person
To apply by mail or in person using the printed form, please follow these steps:
- Read the Club bylaws.
- Use this link to complete the
application.
This application enables you to fill in the blanks using your computer,
or you may print the form and fill it in with a pen.
To enter information into the form, click the line that you want to fill in. The cursor will set itself at the beginning of the line. Note: If the version of Acrobat Reader that you have installed does not allow you to insert the cursor, try upgrading to the latest version.
Type the applicable information. Note: Some sections of the application require that you enter a checkmark rather than type in information (such as indicating your age or privacy preferences). On these lines, either press the SPACEBAR or click the mouse to type and erase checkmarks.
Press TAB to move to the next line. To move back to a previous line, press SHIFT and TAB together.
- Print out the application.
- Sign the paper application and attach any applicable fees.
- Mail the application to the Club or give it to an officer.

Renew Your Existing Membership
If you would like to renew your membership online, please fill out this form. It asks you to update your contact information and then takes you to PayPal's secure website. There you can use a credit card or a PayPal account to pay for your renewal. If you don't have a PayPal account, don't worry. The PayPal site allows you to pay directly with a credit card, without creating an account.
If you would like to renew your membership by mail or in person, please follow the “new member” instructions above to fill out an application and send it in along with your check.
