Join us for our fifth UnRun Weekend!
April 24, 25, and 26, 2009
This annual, weekend event highlights Austin. All proceeds from raffle tickets go to People's Community Clinic in Austin. We welcome all to bring friends and enjoy our city.
The schedule of events this year is (so far):
- Friday, April 24 — 7pm: Meet and Greet at Rusty Spurs. Pick up your run packet with a full schedule with maps and locations. [405 East 7th Street, Austin Texas 78701 (512) 482-9002 map]
- Friday, April 24 — 7pm: Scavenger Hunt begins at the Rusty Spurs. Details at the Meet and Greet.
- Friday, April 24 — 10pm: The party continues at the Chain Drive. [504 Willow Street, Austin, TX, 78701, (512) 480-9017 map]
- Friday, April 24 — 9pm: After Registration Party at Joe and Tom's. Be at the Meet and Greet to get location details.
- Saturday, April 25 — 10am: Bear Breakfasts at Trudy's, I-HOP, and the Bakehouse.
- Saturday, April 25 — Noon: Eeyore's Birthday Party at Pease Park. There really isn't any parking near the park. Take the free shuttle bus.
- Saturday, April 25 — 2pm: Frisbear Golf at Zilker Park Disc Golf, Near MoPac, South of Barton Springs Road in Zilker Park.
- Saturday, April 25 — 2pm: Tour the Texas State Capitol. Meet on the Capitol south steps.
- Saturday, April 25 — 9pm: Scavenger Hunt ends at the Chain Drive.
- Saturday, April 25 — 9pm: Mr. HOT Bear Contest and Show at the Chain Drive. Check in at the Chain Drive for contestants begins at 8pm. Awards for: Mr. HOT Bear, Mr. HOT Grizzly, Mr. HOT Polar or Couple, Mr. HOT Cub or Chaser. All winners get a free pass to Back to the Woods 5! - Sunday, April 26 — 10:30am: Dim Sum Breakfast.
- Sunday, April 26 — 4pm: Beer Bust at Rusty Spurs.
